Default Serious Problems with Amazon S3

    Hi there...

my first post here. I use Forklift for a very long time and last week I get an Amazon S3 Account to backup my files and put some static files for my webserver on it. I can create buckets but if I access to a bucket named like static.domain.tld Forklift runs into a timeout. Forklift can see the bucket but nothing else happens. No permissions, no listing. Not even delete that previously created bucket.

There is no problem with a bucket name without dots or something like that.

    Best,

    Daniel

Oops, your post got out of sight for a bit there.

We've already experienced problems in S3 bucket names, but were able to circumvent the bug. It is possible they did some update that screws with our solution. I will check this.
Hopefully it is an easy fix, so we should be able to resolve it with our next service update.
    Thanks for posting.

Puzzling. I've tested bucketnames with special characters in the current 1.7.8 version on both Leopard and Snow Leopard, and it did work for me just fine. I've tried both EU and US buckets.
Can you check what versions of OSX and ForkLift you are using?
