I found that I couldn't delete files in my Mac via Forklift. I chose the Delete icon or chose the File-->Move to trash but nothing happened. Dose any know the reason or the correct setting to perform this delete action?

hi quintin,
our guess is that you don't have access privileges to these files, this is why the delete doesn't work. but I must admit that there is still some fault with us, as in the lack of an error message from ForkLift.
Still it could be something else, so let's try to zoom in on the problem.
This files are, as I understand, on your local machine, right?
And you are able to delete them with Finder, right? (does Finder ask for a password)
Can you try this: press down ALT while you click the delete icon.(this bypasses the Trash and tries to delete the files directly) Does anything happen?

Dear csaba
You are almost right totally. I could delete them in Finder, but it didn't ask me a password. Of course, these files all were in my local machine.
As your instructions, I trid to delete files by pressing ALT + delete icon. It really worked well. Thank you very much. However, dose it mean I have to bypass the Trash always in Forklift?
