Forklift searches in *file types* when I try to access file by typing its *name*:
I have direcotry with 3 files:
aaa.php
bbb.php
ccc.php
Each of them is of type "PHP File" and DOES NOT start with "P" letter.
then I hit [P] to try to get to file starting with "P" (this situation is simple - just 3 files, but this is more obvious if you have.. 50files or so) - and first "PHP File" gets selected, but I think it should not - as it indicates that there IS a file with name starting with "P".
(As a power user - when I see that the selection has moved - i assume it has found what I needed -- I KNOW names of my files).
I think current is confusing.
------------
edit: and BTW, dont try to select first file AFTER the one starting with hitted letter, if theres no file with such name (example below). FINDER does this - and this is sick, and You don't - which is good - I just remind in case you ever wanted to try this : )
example: i hit [P] but there's no file named "P....", but there's file "ROOT.txt" which in finder gets selected O_o
