Empty Trash

I'd like to be able to empty the Trash from ForkLift, so I can quit the Finder.

It's been discussed earlier, in several posts, on how ForkLift could replace Finder in many ways. Our position on this is No Thank You. We do not want to enter the minefield that replacing Finder functionality would represent for us.

What would be the best way to go about having ForkLift be used for all things related to file management instead of Finder? I'm not referring to replacing the desktop, or other more integrated Finder functions, but for instance, when opening a .dmg file, instead of Finder launching a separate window, is there a way to have ForkLift intercept this request? In general, I don't want to open a Finder window for anything, ForkLift does that duty SO much better (kudos to you and the rest of the BN ForkLift dev team).
