I really like Forklift, but it is missing one essential feature.

That is a option for handling conflicts, like:

If a file already exists. What to do:

Ask, Replace, Skip.

This is the one thing that stops me from moving to Forklift.

Please kick me hard if this feature already exists.

This is already in there, no? At least for me, Forklift always prompts me if I want to replace or skip a file if a file with the same name is in the destination, no matter whether the destination is a remote SMB Volume, local drive, or FTP Server. Do you not receive a prompt from Forklift?

Yes, i do.

But what i need is an option in the preference pane to choose what to automatically do in a conflict.

I upload a lot of files onto my web server that i always want to rewrite, and it's very annoying being asked what to do all the time.

Transmit and Flow already has this. But they can't compete with Forklift if you look at the whole thing.

Yes, we have been thinking about putting in an option ourselves, so it is already on our magical TODO list.

This would be nice to alleviate the irritation from the confirmation dialog still not working properly. This still drives me nuts .. half the time "Apply to all" doesn't work, and if you press space to "Replace", it loses focus on the next file. I use this constantly -- save a file, switch to forklift and hit a key-command to copy files over to server ... up comes the janky confirmation dialog which I can't fully control with keyboard.

Being able to set prefs to Replace and avoid this thing would be great since it seems difficult to get it acting like a normal OS X dialog.

I really hope this feature is included in the new version you're releasing soon.

And please make it usable with keyboard with ENTER, SPACE, tab+space [mac way] :)
