Hi all. I'm a new user to ForkLift (FL) and I searched the forums for an answer....

When I'm using FL with 10.5.2 and am switching between Spaces, I can't seem to get FL to open multiple windows in different Spaces' screens. I can open multiple FL windows, but if I need to use Spaces Screen 1 and need a FL window, it will immediately switch to the Screen that FL is open in, not the screen I'm in. With other file managers and the Finder, if I'm in (for example), Screen 4, a new Finder window will open in the current Spaces Screen (4), not switch to another one. So basically FL windows (not matter how many) can only be opened in one Spaces Screen at a time; I can't have a FL window in Spaces Screen 1, and another FL window in Spaces Screen 2 at the same time...?

Perhaps someone knows the solution...? Thanks.

Hi,

We must admit that we didn't really look into this yet (i.e. using FL with Spaces). My setup says FL should be visible on 'every space', so I only use the one window, and never seemed to need to open new ones.
This said, you are perfectly right, and FL should be able to handle this. We are putting it on our ToDo list and will work on a fix for one of the upcoming releases.
