Realizing they are not the same program, but I'm trying to force myself to use Forklift over YummyFTP, but I find the ability to not be able to press return and select the name of a file inconvenient, at the very least, single click on the name and have it editable (for copying file name).

Also, I'd like to see Finder like navigation, Cmd-right arrow opens folder, Cmd-up goes up a directory, Cmd-left goes back a directory.

Even on desktop computers, I'm used to keyboard shortcuts for almost all my computing. On my MacBook Pro it's required.

Hi harringg,

Shorcuts can be freely defined in ForkLift > Preferences > Shortcuts.
You can assign return to Rename, and assign cmd+arrows to Open selection and other navigation actions. There's only one issue: if a shortcut you want to use is already assigned to an action, you'll first need to delete that shortcut from the original action, and only then can you reassign it to another action.

Hope this helps.

I have one question: how can I delete existing association? Pressing BSPACE or CMD-BSPACE doesn't work :/

Hello,

I have one question: how can I delete existing association? Pressing BSPACE or CMD-BSPACE doesn't work :/

Double click on the shortcut and press delete.

Double click on the shortcut and press delete.

Not so easy. In my MacBook Pro I have only Backspace. Delete for is when I press Cmd-Backspace. Both of them will assign me a shortcut (backspace or cmd-backspace) to som emenu title.

On mackbooks you have to use fn - backspace (delete)

Please handle the Home/End (select first/last in the list), PageUp/PageDown (select first/last from the visible part of the list) keys in the navigation panes. I think this cannot be done with the shortcut key assignments now.

The complete (PgUp/Down Home/End) navigation works in 1.6b4 only if you have "Enable keyboard selection" checked in the preferences. If one doesn't have it checked, then only PgUp/Down works. Could please fix the Home/End behaviour as well?
