Folder synchronization

I would be so happy, if there would be a built in one-button sync funtion in forklift.

You will be happy to learn then, that Synchronization is THE next big development project here at BinaryNights.
We have already started brainwork on how to best do the sync function, and we have had a couple of really interesting ideas, so when we boiled them down a little, we will probably want to discuss them here on this forum thread.

In the meantime, please do feel free to make detailed recommendations on how you imagine this one-button sync function :)

That's awesome news. I would suggest looking at Total Commander http://www.ghisler.com/
That is an excellent program that does synching beautifully.

Basically it compares two directories in view and opens a window with the results.
On the middle you have -> <- = ... you can filter so you dont see the = items or whatever you want. then whatever is left in the window after you apply filters is copied/from left to right or right to left as needed.
