Drag&Drop in the same Pane?

I found dragging in a pane actually extends the selection, making it really hard to move things in the same pane. I have to do clone pane first and then move it.

It's kinda strange. especially when I'm on a FTP which only allows one connection, it may be lead to problems.

It works - but the behavior is kinda strange!!

Make a selection - drag the items slightly to the right and then onto a folder in the same pane.

The behavior should be fixed ....

To initiate dragging you have to move the selection vertically (either side).
This is the standard OS X behavior so that dragging and selecting could live together.
