Would there be any way to allow for the provision of the appropriate password if required by an item.

Occasionally after having copied items from a CD/DVD to an local disc, I find that when trying to delete these items from within Forklift clicking 'Delete' doesn't do anything. There no action at all, no prompts, errors or evidence it has acknowledge the pressing of the toolbar Icon at all.

If you pop finder open and delete the items from within Finder you are then asked for a Username/Password with clearance to make the deletion.

Unless there's something wrong with my config

Well, ForkLift can't authenticate you to perform privileged task at the moment. I have been delaying work on authentications because it's a very complex problem, but sooner or later we will have to come up with a solution...
Still, ForkLift should at least let you know that there's an error here, so we have put this on our buglist, and will fix it in an upcoming release.

Thanks very much, both for the swift response and for adding it to the list of things to do :)
