View Full Version : Queue-List for Copying Files in a row, not parallel
On Windows i'm using the filemanager SpeedCommander. In on of the latest Releases, SpeedCommander got a new feature called Queue-List. If activated, each copy procress will be started after eacht other, e.g. you mark one big file and copy it to another location. Then you mark another file and copy it to a different location. Fork Lift starts 2 processes to copy both files and both processes run parallel and share the available bandwith. In SpeedCommander, the processes will be run one after another, so every process gets the full bandwidth. Got what i mean? I find that feature really, really useful.

Sure it's a good idea - we have it on our list already. And we already have a discussion running in our forums, here> http://forum.binarynights.com/showthread.php?t=16&highlight=queue
thanks for the input anyway, dude
