Automatically converting "illegal" characters

Hi,

I know this one is a bit hard to program. But it would be very nice if there is an option for ForkLift to automatically convert illegal characters like ´, `or ü, ä, ö to something that can be uploaded to a server.

Reason: I am using my FTP to backup all my purchased iTunes Songs and you really can't tell an artist to use websafe characters, could you? ;)

Hi Zett,

All you have to do is set the appropriate text encoding from the view menu (View > Text encoding). You can also set it permanently for a favorite on the connection panel under the advanced tab.
