Hi,
when I open Info tab at the bottom of the application and go to my html file with bookmarks exported from Safari Forklift starts to treat this file as the movie file as displays play button. When I hit it, it starts to display my HTML source code from inside the file as the movie

What's going on?

QuickTime is able to display many kinds of text files, and the preview uses QuickTime. Now, we shouldn't let it do, and we do have exclusions installed for .txt and .doc files, for instance. So I am putting this on our todo list now, and we'll eventually fix this.

Thanks for spotting and reporting this.

Thank you very much behalf of all users. Without exclusions for most popular file types preview is not so useful. Of course you can use Quick Look which has been built in the Leopard or maybe there is a way to integrate the Quick Look plugins inside the preview instead of using QuickTime?

Actually, we have both Preview and QuickLook.

In ForkLift, you can simply hit the space key anytime to view selected items in QuickLook. QuickLook will display all files, docs, pdfs and spreadsheets included.

The Preview differs in that it will display more (eg files inside archives, over an FTP or whatever connection).

Yes I know that Preview differs, but Quick Look is also able to display files inside the archive if you install some plugins. I meant, that maybe there is a way to add Quick Look as a engine to ForkLift instead of using Quick View, than HTML files will be displayed correctly. But anyway, having Quick Look on the board from Leopard OS I am pretty happy I can display a file and without quitting Quick Look copy it to another directory.
