Hi, I am an avid user of orthodox file managers (mainly Total Commander in the dar ages when I used windows), since I moved to mac I've been able to do most things I wanted using Finder, but I do miss a good twin panel manager.
Here are just the things that I miss most in ForkLift and that would make my life a lot easier:
-Add a '..' at the beginning to go to the parent (backspace can be way too far, especially when using mouse all the time)
-When opening a compressed file add it to the path bar: in order to do something like the above point I click on the parent folder in the path bar, but when you open a compressed file it replaces eveything.
-Ability to select using a key, in TC/MC/NC you can select files by pressing space bar (allows to select without having to keep a key pressed) I do miss this feature a lot.
-Add a device bar for each pane (like TC has an icon bar for each one)
Thats about it, overall the program is quite good and I've enjoyed using it
